Corvin Castle to host Ioan de Hunedoara Medieval Festival

The Ioan de Hunedoara Medieval Festival is scheduled to take place on August 29–30, 2026, at Corvin Castle and the Corvin Pedestrian Area in Hunedoara.

The event will feature historical reenactment groups from Romania, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary. Activities include historical battle reenactments, interactive workshops covering blacksmithing, ceramics, and weaving, archery demonstrations, and medieval combat displays.

The program also includes musical performances by the bands Iris and Peregrinii, alongside various historical presentations such as infantry tactics and knightly ceremonies.
