Corvinul Hunedoara announces several player departures ahead of new season
Corvinul Hunedoara, fresh from its promotion to Romania's top flight, confirmed the exit of several squad members as the team prepares for the upcoming campaign. The club thanked forward Alexandru Buziuc, who made 26 appearances, scored two goals and provided two assists, as well as midfielder Denis Rența (seven appearances) and striker Szabolcs Kilyen (eight matches, one goal). Veteran defender Mihai Velisar, with 76 games and three goals for the club, also left after three seasons. New signings include the return of Flavius Iacob, a 25‑year‑old midfielder whose loan with UTA Arad has ended, and goalkeeper Adrian Frănculescu, who joined on loan from CFR Cluj for the season.
