Corvinul Hunedoara signs midfielder Dragoș Albu

Corvinul Hunedoara has officially announced the signing of 25-year-old midfielder Dragoș Albu. The central and defensive midfielder joins the newly promoted SuperLiga side as a free agent.

Albu brings significant top-flight experience to the club, having previously played for FCU Craiova, Gloria Buzău, and FC Hermannstadt. He was trained in Romania and at the FC Utrecht academy in the Netherlands, where he debuted professionally for Jong Utrecht. During his career, he has made over 100 appearances for FCU Craiova and represented Romania at the U16, U17, U18, and U21 levels.

The transfer follows recent speculation regarding a move to an Italian club, which the player had previously denied. Albu has already made his debut for Corvinul Hunedoara, appearing as a substitute in a match against FC Voluntari.
