Coryn Tardif Wins Alberta U19 Junior Girls Golf Tournament in Sundre

Coryn Tardif, a golfer from Sylvan Lake, Alberta, captured the title at the 2026 Alberta U19 Junior Girls Golf Tournament held at the Coyote Club in Sundre. She competed against 30 other girls and posted a personal best performance, a marked turnaround from finishing last at the same event four years earlier.

Tardif, who plays for the Utah Tech Women’s Golf team in the United States, said the victory reflects years of hard work and determination. She noted that her summer schedule includes six tournaments and that her college commitments have given her more flexibility compared with high‑school competition. Looking ahead, Tardif plans to continue balancing her academic studies with competitive golf in her second year at Utah Tech.
