Cosemar Ozono to showcase agricultural ozone at Fruit Attraction
Cosemar Ozono will present the applications of agricultural ozone at the Fruit Attraction 2026 event in Madrid. The presentation will feature real-world case studies from peach producers in Calanda, Spain, and strawberry producers in France to demonstrate the practical impacts of ozone technology on production systems.
During the conference, titled ‘Beyond zero residue: ozone, biosecurity and profitability in agriculture,’ CEO Ángel Sereno will discuss how ozone affects production, quality, irrigation water, and operational costs. The company’s approach focuses on five key objectives, referred to as the ‘5 Rs’: zero residue, plant resilience, measurable profitability, root development, and microbiological quality of irrigation water.
The session aims to move beyond theoretical possibilities by analyzing measurable results, such as reduced dependence on certain treatments, crop responses to stress, and the cost per commercial kilogram. Additionally, the role of water treatment in irrigation systems will be examined, specifically regarding microbiological contamination and biofilm formation.
