Cosenza and Cagliari negotiate goalkeeper deals for Iliev and Ciocci

Cosenza Calcio is rebuilding its goalkeeper roster after the departure of Thomas Vettorel. The club is close to securing Bulgarian keeper Velizar Iliev on a season‑long loan from Cagliari Calcio, with an option to purchase at the end of the term. At the same time, Cosenza is evaluating the possible permanent transfer of Cagliari’s third‑choice keeper Giuseppe Ciocci, allowing him to seek more playing time in Calabria.

Both clubs see the move as a way to strengthen their squads: Cagliari can streamline its goalkeeping department, while Cosenza aims to add depth and competition between the posts for the upcoming season.
