Cosenza and Catanzaro host paralympic and creative events

Cosenza is set to host the Cosenza Paralympic Days from November 4 to 8, 2026. Promoted by FISPES Calabria, the event focuses on paralympic sport, inclusion, and regional promotion. The program includes a conference at the University of Calabria titled “Paralympic athletics as a model of social inclusion” and training sessions featuring national and international athletes such as Bebe Vio and Oney Tapia.

In Catanzaro, recent paralympic activities included the signing of two protocols of understanding. One agreement was established between the Calabria Regional Committee of the Italian Red Cross and the Calabria Paralympic Committee. A second agreement was signed between the City of Catanzaro and the Calabria Paralympic Committee to boost local paralympic activities. Additionally, a theoretical and practical seminar was held at Magna Graecia University for motor science students and federal technicians.

Separately, the ninth edition of the Cose Belle Festival will take place in Cosenza from November 5 to 8, 2026. Organized by Interazioni Creative at the Museo dei Brettii e degli Enotri, the festival features exhibitions, workshops, and live performances centered on creativity, illustration, and design.
