Cosenza and Foggia face off in Serie C match at neutral venue

Cosenza faced Foggia in an eighth-round Serie C Girone C match held at the Scida stadium in Crotone. Due to structural issues and ongoing redevelopment at the San Vito-Gigi Marulla stadium, Cosenza has been forced to play its home matches at a neutral venue over 100 kilometers away.

Cosenza enters the match facing internal tension between the club and its supporters, alongside a difficult start to the season. Foggia, led by coach Gaetano Auteri, arrives with increased momentum following a recent victory against Sorrento. Auteri emphasized the competitive nature of the league, noting that while Cosenza is a capable group, the current standings do not fully reflect their true value.

During the match, Foggia secured a 2-0 lead. The game took place under closed doors at the Scida stadium.
