Cosenza announces 2026-2027 theatrical season

The Cosenza region has unveiled its theatrical programming for the 2026-2027 season, featuring a collaborative effort between various local institutions including Teatro Rendano, Cine Teatro Garden, and the University of Calabria.

Teatro Rendano, under artistic director Chiara Giordano, will present 58 events encompassing opera, ballet, and prose. This season is part of a broader cultural project integrated into the Festival Calabria Teatri. The programming includes collaborations with L’Altro Teatro and the Bruzia Symphony Orchestra.

Complementing this, the Cine Teatro Garden in Rende has announced an autonomous schedule focusing on comedy, music, and popular social media personalities. Highlights include performances by Maccio Capatonda, Vincenzo Schettini, and various musical tributes to Battisti and Mogol. The season aims to blend traditional performing arts with contemporary popular culture and educational outreach.
