Cosenza begins camera installation at Parco del Benessere

Work has commenced to install a video surveillance system in Cosenza’s Parco del Benessere to combat vandalism and property damage. The monitoring system will cover the entire path from Piazza Giacomo Mancini to the Due Fiumi area, extending to the final roundabout before Parco Nicholas Green.

This initiative is part of a broader security program that previously included the Museo all’Aperto Bilotti (MAB). Both projects were funded by approximately 450,000 euros through the Ministry of the Interior’s POC Legalità program. Mayor Franz Caruso stated that protecting public assets is an administrative priority intended to ensure the safety and usability of urban spaces used for sports and social activities.
