Cosenza Mayor Franz Caruso Mourns Artist Giuseppe Filosa

Italian artist Giuseppe Filosa, originally from Montalto Uffugo, died. He had established an art workshop and the gallery “Il Graffio” in the historic centre of Cosenza, turning the space into a meeting point for artists, intellectuals and young people from around the world. Filosa also created the sculpture “Verso Sud” for the municipality, which was installed in Piazza XI Settembre.

Mayor Franz Caruso issued a public condolence message, praising Filosa’s talent, his role in promoting culture in Cosenza and Calabria, and his generosity in sharing knowledge and fostering artistic exchange.
