Cosenza proposes tax deadline extension for municipal settlements

The Cosenza City Council is scheduled to meet on September 29 to consider a proposal to extend the deadline for the facilitated settlement of municipal taxes. The initiative, proposed by Mayor Franz Caruso and Council President Giuseppe Mazzuca, aims to allow citizens who missed the August 31 deadline to regularize their tax positions.

If approved, the extension would allow for the consideration of applications submitted up until September 25. The council will also establish new payment terms for the first installment for those applications submitted after the original deadline.
