Cosenza trainees face delays in ecological guard certification

A group of six to seven trainees participating in the GOL (Garanzia Occupabilità Lavoratori) program for ecological guard training in Cosenza are facing significant delays. Having started their training in January 2025, the participants have completed both the theoretical portion and their internships at a local municipality.

Despite completing the required curriculum, the trainees have been waiting for months to take their final exam. The training school reports that it is currently awaiting instructions from the Calabria Region regarding the specific methods and timing for the examination. The trainees have expressed confusion and frustration over the lack of communication and are calling on the Calabria Region and President Roberto Occhiuto to provide clarity on when they can conclude their professional path.
