Cosmin Olăroiu leads Al Jazira to four consecutive wins in UAE

Romanian coach Cosmin Olăroiu has secured four consecutive victories with Al Jazira in the United Arab Emirates league. The team’s most recent performance was a 3-1 comeback victory against Al Ahli Dubai on September 5.

Despite conceding a goal in the second minute and playing in extreme heat reaching approximately 40 degrees Celsius, Al Jazira managed to overturn the deficit. Olăroiu credited the players for the win, noting the physical difficulty of the match and the prevalence of cramps among the squad due to the weather.

This winning streak follows a difficult start for the club, which included a 1-4 loss to Al Ittihad in the Asian Champions League qualifiers. That defeat resulted in Al Jazira competing in the AFC Champions League 2 instead of the primary competition.
