Cosmin Olăroiu signs with Al-Jazira amid reports of significant wealth

Romanian football coach Cosmin Olăroiu has accumulated significant wealth, estimated at 60 million euros, through successful coaching contracts in the Gulf region and China, as well as through business ventures. His wife, Luminița Olăroiu, manages several of these interests, including two restaurants in Dubai and real estate investments in Romania.

Olăroiu's tenure with the United Arab Emirates national team was marked by the failure to qualify for the 2026 World Cup, a result that cost him a contractual bonus of 5 million euros. Following his departure, the team appointed Zlatko Dalic. Despite the missed qualification, Olăroiu recently signed with Al-Jazira in the United Arab Emirates on a contract lasting until 2028.
