Cosmos flowers reach full bloom in Kazo and Maniwa

Autumn landscapes are reaching peak beauty in several Japanese regions as cosmos flower fields enter full bloom.

In Kazo City, Saitama Prefecture, approximately 70,000 colorful cosmos flowers are currently at their peak around the Kazo Mirai-kan. The fields feature a variety of colors, including pink, white, and pale yellow, providing a vibrant seasonal display.

In Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, about 80,000 cosmos flowers are coloring the Hiruzen Highlands. The flowers, which were planted by a local dairy agricultural cooperative in late August, began blooming around October 10. Visitors have described the expansive floral scenery as impressive. The display is expected to continue through early next week, provided weather conditions such as typhoons or frost do not interfere.
