Cosmos Labs launches partner network for tokenized banking
Cosmos Labs has launched the Cosmos Partner Network, a group of 17 specialist companies designed to assist banks in implementing tokenized-deposit projects. While Cosmos provides the underlying ledger and tokenization infrastructure, the network connects financial institutions with third-party providers for essential services including custody, compliance, security, and infrastructure.
Initial members of the network include BitGo, Galaxy Digital, Blockchain.com, Blockdaemon, OpenZeppelin, Hypernative, and DFNS. The network aims to simplify vendor selection for bank procurement teams by providing a directory of companies capable of managing tasks such as transaction monitoring, signing key security, and connecting ledgers to existing banking systems.
The initiative comes as institutional interest in tokenized money grows. Data indicates that by mid-2026, only 3.4% of the world’s 290 largest banks had live tokenized-deposit capabilities, though that figure is projected to reach approximately 21% by mid-2027. The network targets applications such as treasury management, trade finance, programmable escrow, and continuous payment settlement.
