Cosoleacaque land donation for school remains incomplete
The Veracruz State Congress has reported that a 2022 request by the Cosoleacaque City Council to donate land for the construction of Escuela Secundaria Técnica Industrial Número 158 remains incomplete due to missing documentation.
Paul Martínez Marie, president of the Permanent Commission on Municipal Finance, stated that the state legislature is waiting for the municipal council to provide an official follow-up and fulfill the necessary legal requirements. This issue follows recent protests by parents regarding the legal status of the school and the donation intended for the Veracruz Ministry of Education (SEV).
Martínez Marie noted that while the Congress prioritizes education, all administrative actions must strictly adhere to the law to prevent future legal complications for the institution. The delay is currently attributed to municipal administrative issues.
