Costa Blanca and Burgas Coastlines Promoted as Top Mediterranean Beach Getaways

Costa Blanca spans the eastern coast of Spain’s Alicante province, offering around 200 km of Mediterranean shoreline. Major resort towns include Benidorm, known for its extensive beaches and nightlife, as well as quieter locales such as Altea, Calpe, Villajoyosa and Torrevieja, each featuring distinct atmospheres ranging from bustling holiday hubs to relaxed coastal villages.

The Burgas region lies on Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast. Its main tourist centers are Sunny Beach, a large resort with a wide sand beach and vibrant nightlife, and the historic town of Nessebar, a UNESCO World Heritage site noted for its medieval architecture. Smaller destinations such as Pomorie, Sozopol and the city of Burgas itself provide a mix of beach leisure, spa facilities and cultural attractions.

Both areas are marketed to a range of travellers, from families and couples to groups seeking active or tranquil seaside experiences.
