Costa Coffee closes several Cornwall outlets following franchise breach

Multiple Costa Coffee locations across Cornwall have closed following the termination of a franchise agreement with Kernow Koffi. The coffee chain stated the decision to end the partnership was due to a ‘breach’ by the operator, though the specific nature of the breach was not disclosed.

Affected locations include stores in Bodmin, Wadebridge, Bude, and Camborne. These outlets are currently listed as ‘temporarily closed’ on official store locators. Reports indicate that staff at the closed branches have been placed on ‘temporary layoff.’

Costa Coffee confirmed that locations not operated by Kernow Koffi remain unaffected. These include stores in St Austell, Launceston, Liskeard, Saltash, Truro, Falmouth, and Camborne Tolvaddon.
