Costa do Sol Tourism Festival unites 13 municipalities in Saquarema

The first Costa do Sol Tourism Festival was held at the Saquarema Event Center, bringing together representatives from 13 municipalities to promote regional integration and tourism development. Organized by the Costa do Sol Tourism Development Council (Condetur Costa do Sol) with support from the Saquarema City Hall, the event ran from Monday to Wednesday.

The festival served as a platform for public managers, industry professionals, and specialists to discuss sector growth, destination valuation, and shared challenges. Participants engaged in lectures and debates aimed at creating a joint agenda that transcends municipal borders to increase the region's competitiveness in the tourism market.

Representatives from Cabo Frio participated in five sectoral chambers to transform local demands into practical proposals. Tourism Secretary Davi Barcelos emphasized that regional integration is essential for turning local potential into job creation and income generation.
