Costa Rica enhances business competitiveness through digital and sustainable initiatives
Mastercard and the Costa Rican Chamber of Commerce have signed an agreement to enhance business competitiveness through digital transformation and strategic information access. The partnership aims to provide affiliated companies with economic trends, consumer patterns, and international best practices to facilitate informed decision-making in an evolving digital economy.
Separately, Costa Rican engineering firms are expanding their international presence by focusing on sustainable industrial projects. The firm INGENYA has gained recognition for designing high-complexity manufacturing facilities, including cleanrooms for medical and pharmaceutical companies such as Bayer and Boston Scientific. This approach integrates energy efficiency and sustainability into the design phase to meet global value chain standards.
