Costa Rica sends eight para-athletes to Cali Grand Prix

Costa Rica will be represented by eight para-athletes at the World Para Athletics Grand Prix in Cali, Colombia, held from September 17 to 20. The delegation includes Sherman Güity, who recently set a world record in the T64 100-meter dash.

The Costa Rican team consists of Melissa Calvo, María José Martínez, Shopia Orozco, Sherman Güity, Amalia Ortuño, Dalessandro Abarca, Daniel Fajardo, and Laurens Molina. The event is expected to host over 330 para-athletes from 25 different countries at the Pedro Grajales Athletics Stadium.
