Institutional Investors Boost Stakes in Belden and Bandwidth

Principal Financial Group increased its holding in Belden Inc. to 114,795 shares, representing about 0.29% of the industrial products maker and valued at roughly $13.2 million, according to its latest Form 13F filing. Other investors also added to their positions, including Millennium Management, USAA, UBS Asset Management, Jane Street Group and Acadian Asset Management, bringing total institutional ownership of Belden to about 98.75%.

Walleye Capital acquired a new stake in Bandwidth Inc., buying 59,997 shares worth approximately $1.07 million and representing about 0.19% of the communications‑technology company. Additional investors such as Deutsche Bank, Mercer Global Advisors, Franklin Resources, Price T Rowe Associates and Tower Research Capital also raised their holdings, resulting in institutional investors controlling roughly 68.5% of Bandwidth’s stock.

Both filings were reported in the first quarter of 2024 and reflect ongoing adjustments by hedge funds and other institutional investors in their portfolios of U.S. listed companies.
