Costantino Favasuli discusses rise from Catanzaro to Napoli

Napoli and Italy Under-21 winger Costantino Favasuli spoke during a press conference at the Under-21 training camp in Tirrenia. Reflecting on his rapid ascent from Serie B with Catanzaro to playing in Serie A and the Champions League, Favasuli described his current success as a “starting point” rather than a final destination.

Favasuli credited his development to his time at Catanzaro and praised national team coach Silvio Baldini for his courage in involving young players with the senior national team in June. He also noted a positive trend in Italian football, stating that young players are increasingly being given opportunities in both Serie A and Serie B.

Regarding his club, Napoli, Favasuli expressed confidence in the team's ability to recover following a difficult start to the season, noting that the upcoming break will allow for player returns.
