Costco Camarillo warehouse set to open October 2026

Costco is nearing the completion of its new 160,000-square-foot warehouse in Camarillo, California. The facility, located at the western end of the Camarillo Town Center near the 101 freeway, is scheduled to open on October 30, 2026.

The new location will feature a pharmacy, optical department, food court, and signature bulk grocery services. The site includes approximately 900 parking stalls and dedicated electric vehicle charging stations. A 32-pump gas station at the development previously opened on May 1.

The project faced several delays following its initial 2022 submission. Local opposition group Ventura County Citizens Against Mega Gas sought additional environmental reviews, but a California appeals court recently sided with the city, allowing construction to proceed.
