Costco Canada recalls toaster ovens, croissants and Cadbury snack bars over safety risks
Costco Canada has issued voluntary recalls for several products sold in its stores. A Panasonic electric toaster oven (model NB‑G205) is being recalled because the power‑cord insulation may be inadequate, creating a risk of electric shock or fire. Health Canada advised consumers to stop using the oven immediately and return it for a full refund.
Two food items are also affected. Alfa croissants with cocoa‑cream filling are recalled over possible mold contamination; the recall covers 24‑count packages with lot codes 10726 and 08626 sold between June and July 2026. Cadbury Dairy Milk Oreo chocolate bars are being recalled because they may contain undeclared pistachios, posing a serious allergy risk. The bars were sold in 12‑pack 38‑g boxes at Costco between February and July 2026, with specific lot codes listed in the notices.
Consumers are instructed not to consume, sell, or distribute the recalled items and may return any of them to any Costco warehouse for a full refund. No injuries or deaths have been reported.
