Costco highlights household card benefits and $50–$100 membership credit deals

Costco offers a household card that serves as a secondary membership for another adult living at the same address. The card is provided at no additional cost and grants the holder full access to Costco warehouses, online shopping, gas stations and other member services. It allows the secondary cardholder to make purchases, return items and use services independently of the primary member.

For a limited time, new Costco members can receive promotional credits when they sign up online. The Gold Star Membership costs $65 and includes a $50 Costco.com credit after a qualifying $150 online purchase. The Executive Membership costs $130 and provides a $100 credit after a qualifying $250 purchase. These offers are available only to new members or those whose previous primary or household memberships have been expired for at least 18 months, and must be redeemed online before visiting a warehouse. The promotion is typically accessed through a third‑party site such as Groupon, with the confirmation email sent from Costco after purchase.
