Costco requests building license for new Siero location

Costco has formally submitted a request for a building license to construct a new warehouse club in the Bobes industrial park in Siero, Asturias. The project represents a total investment of approximately 37 million euros, with 25 million euros dedicated specifically to the store itself, while the remainder covers land acquisition and urban development.

The facility is planned to cover nearly 55,000 square meters, featuring a 15,000-square-meter store, a service station, 825 parking spaces, and 5,000 square meters of green areas. Once operational, the location is expected to create 200 jobs.

Construction is anticipated to begin in early 2027, with an expected opening by the end of that year. The company has already paid 668,000 euros in construction and installation taxes (ICIO) to the municipality.
