Costco to open 10 new U.S. stores in late 2026

Costco is planning to open 10 new warehouse locations across nine U.S. states during October and November 2026. This move is part of a broader corporate strategy to inaugurate between 25 and 30 warehouses throughout the year.

The October openings will include five locations in Missouri (Lee’s Summit), Texas (The Colony), New York (Amherst), Kansas (Lawrence), and California (Camarillo).

In November, five additional stores are scheduled to open in Idaho (S. Meridian), California (Vallejo), Arizona (Chandler), Virginia, and Wisconsin. The Chandler, Arizona location will feature a different format known as a Business Center, which is specifically designed for business owners.
