Costco Wholesale shares see shifts as hedge funds trim and raise positions

Main Street Research LLC reduced its Costco Wholesale stake by 26% in the first quarter, selling 16,227 shares and ending the period with 46,139 shares valued at about $45.97 million. Simplicity Wealth LLC also trimmed its holding, cutting 12.4% and now owning 9,332 shares worth roughly $9.30 million.

Other institutional investors increased their positions: Brighton Jones LLC added 12.3% in the fourth quarter to hold 19,825 shares; Revolve Wealth Partners LLC rose 13.1% to 1,123 shares; Sivia Capital Partners LLC grew 4.5% to 3,853 shares; Pinnacle Wealth Planning Services Inc. lifted 1.1% to 2,110 shares; and Schnieders Capital Management LLC increased 2.2% to 8,502 shares. Overall, institutional investors own about 68.5% of Costco’s stock. Analysts continue to rate the stock as a buy, with price targets ranging from $1,088 to $1,200.
