Cota Empreendimentos Begins Construction of Cota 365 Residential Project in Florianópolis

Brazilian construction firm Cota Empreendimentos, celebrating 52 years in the Santa Catarina market, broke ground on its new residential complex Cota 365 in the Estreito neighbourhood of Florianópolis in June. The development will occupy a 2,133 m² plot and feature 17,490 m² of built space across two basements, a ground floor, mezzanine, garden level, ten typical floors and a penthouse, delivering 176 units that include studios and two‑bedroom apartments with one or two suites, plus four commercial stores, a hobby box and parking.

The project emphasises modern construction technology, comfort, safety and sustainability. Director of technical operations Marco Alberton said the works are on schedule, with the structural diaphragm walls for the basement perimeter slated for completion within 60 days, after which excavation to the second sub‑soil level and continuous helix‑pile foundations will commence. The full construction programme targets completion by January 2030.
