Coti releases new disco-pop version of ‘50 Horas’ with Silvestre y la Naranja

Argentine singer-songwriter Coti has released a new version of his classic track ‘50 Horas’, originally from the 2015 album ‘Qué Esperas’. This updated rendition features the indie group Silvestre y la Naranja and adopts a disco-pop aesthetic with strong 1970s influences.

The project aims to bridge generations by combining Coti’s established career with contemporary indie-pop sounds. This release is part of a broader initiative where the artist revisits his successful repertoire alongside various modern talents, including previous collaborations with Yami Safdie, Miranda!, and Valentino Merlo.

Coti has emphasized that his goal is to demonstrate how well-crafted songs can adapt to new styles and find new life. This musical journey follows his recent work on the album ‘Serenata en Mi Mayor para un amor y un atardecer’, which was recorded using live musicians without the use of virtual instruments or artificial intelligence.
