Cotronei 2030 responds to Trepidò water purifier seizure

The political movement Cotronei 2030 has addressed the preventive seizure of the Trepidò water purifier, rejecting alarmist interpretations of the situation. The group stated that protecting the environment and public health remains the priority while awaiting the judicial authority's findings.

According to the movement, the plant has long faced structural limitations, particularly during high-traffic tourist months like August, due to being undersized for current flows. They noted that construction work for a new purifier is already underway to resolve these issues. Additionally, the movement pointed out that the municipal administration has not yet received official communication regarding the seizure and emphasized that routine maintenance is managed by a private company.
