Coty reports Q4 revenue beat amid increased net loss

Coty Inc. reported its fourth-quarter fiscal 2026 results, showing a reported revenue of $1.27 billion, which exceeded analyst estimates but was accompanied by an increased net loss of approximately $141 million. While quarterly revenue rose 1% year-over-year, full-year revenues for the period ended June 30, 2026, declined by 2% to $5.8 billion.

Interim CEO Markus Strobel characterized the upcoming fiscal 2027 as a transition year. The company is implementing a strategic framework called ‘Coty. Curated’ to focus on core prestige fragrance and beauty brands, such as Burberry, Hugo Boss, and Calvin Klein, while rightsizing its commercial and R&D organizations. The company also announced the appointment of Soraya Benchikh as Chief Financial Officer, effective September 1.

Performance varied by segment; prestige beauty revenues saw slight fluctuations, while consumer beauty revenue declined. The company noted a 1% headwind in the fourth quarter due to conflict in the Middle East. Despite the losses, Coty reported strong cash generation, with fiscal-year free cash flow totaling $348.2 million.
