Council of the Americas announces 2026 BRAVO Business Award winners

The Council of the Americas (COA) has announced the recipients of the 31st annual BRAVO Business Awards, scheduled to be presented on November 19 in Miami. The awards recognize leaders and companies driving innovation, investment, and economic development across Latin America.

Roberto Alvo, CEO of LATAM Airlines, will receive the ‘CEO of the Year’ award for leading the airline through a complex financial restructuring and digital transformation. The ‘Innovation Beacon’ award will be presented to Rappi founders Felipe Villamarín and Sebastián Mejía. Carlos Barrera, CEO of Atlas Renewable Energy, will be honored as ‘Innovative CEO of the Year’ for his role in building a major renewable energy producer in the region.

Additional honors include a ‘Legacy’ award for Banco do Brasil, led by Tarciana Medeiros. The upcoming gala is expected to host executives, government leaders, and investors to discuss topics such as artificial intelligence and the potential for data center and cloud infrastructure investment in Latin America.
