Countess Jytte Krag-Juel-Vind-Frijs dies at 75

Countess Jytte Krag-Juel-Vind-Frijs has passed away at the age of 75. She was a long-time confidante of Queen Margrethe, serving as a lady-in-waiting from 2011 to 2017.

Beyond her service at the Danish Royal Court, the Countess had a notable public career, serving as the mayor of Højreby Municipality on Lolland from 2002 to 2007. In 2012, she was appointed a Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog. Following her active service as a lady-in-waiting, she continued her connection to the monarchy as a chamberlain.
