Country Singer Hannah Dasher Discloses Odd DM from Famous Married Celebrity

Country singer Hannah Dasher told listeners on the "Like a Farmer" podcast that a famous, married celebrity once sent her a direct message she described as the "weirdest" she’s received, though she did not reveal the individual's identity. She added that her Christian faith has guided her career choices, noting, "I could have gone on some pretty big tours if I wasn’t a Christian."

Dasher, who grew up near Savannah, Georgia, moved to Nashville after college and worked selling boats at Bass Pro Shops before being fired for writing songs on the job. She signed her first publishing deal with BMG Chrysalis in 2013, later partnering with Sony/ATV and co‑writing the Brad Paisley track "Go to Bed Early" in 2017. During the COVID‑19 pandemic she launched a viral TikTok cooking series, "Stand By Your Pan," which amassed over a million followers. In 2021 she signed with Sony Music Nashville, released the EP "The Half Record," and was named one of CMT’s Next Women of Country, performing at the Grand Ole Opry and other venues.
