Country Women's Association fosters community through food and support

The Sydney City branch of the Country Women's Association (CWA) provides a vital community support network through fundraising activities such as bake sales, farmers' markets, and sausage sizzles. While the CWA is historically rooted in rural Australia, its city-based members maintain a strong presence by fostering social connections and providing companionship to locals.

In conjunction with these community efforts, the ABC series ‘Recipe Of The Year’ will feature CWA branches from across the country. The program explores the importance of preserving traditional family recipes. Actor and judge Rebecca Lim, who shared her own experiences with Korean and Vietnamese culinary traditions, will appear on the show alongside Ellice Schrader, Adam Liaw, and Pia Miranda.
