County cancels Samarzewo road reconstruction tender, plans re‑tender by August

Residents of Samarzewo appealed to the county road authority for action on the local road. The Powiatowy Zarząd Dróg announced a tender on 24 June 2026 for the reconstruction of county road No. 2922P, with the bid deadline set for 9 July 2026. Five companies submitted offers; the highest was 3 198 000 zł and the lowest 2 162 361,33 zł.

Because the county had only 1 000 000 zł earmarked for the project, the bids exceeded the legally permitted amount under Art. 255 of the public procurement law. The authority therefore declared the tender void, is revising the documentation, and intends to issue a new tender by the end of August. In the meantime the road segment has been marked with a temporary A‑30 sign and urgent patch repairs are being carried out to improve safety before the new procurement process begins.
