County Offaly Wins €8.2 Million Lotto Jackpot in Ireland

The Irish National Lottery confirmed that a ticket bought in County Offaly won the €8,221,849 (about $9.37 million) jackpot in the Saturday night draw, becoming the fourth jackpot winner of 2026. The winner's identity was not disclosed, and the Lottery urged all players to check their tickets and contact the prize‑claims team at 1800 666 222 or claims@lottery.ie.

Alongside the jackpot, three Match 5‑plus‑Bonus prizes of €89,430 (≈$101,982) were awarded to tickets purchased in County Clare, County Mayo and Dublin. National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O'Dwyer said the winning tickets were bought using the Quick Pick option and reminded winners to sign the back of their tickets before claiming.
