Coupang Eats supports traditional market digital transformation
Coupang Eats participated in the 2026 National Excellent Market Fair held in Gongju, South Chungcheong Province, to introduce support programs for traditional market merchants and small business owners.
The company showcased two primary initiatives: the ‘Traditional Market Digital Jump-up Program,’ which provides online sales strategy consulting and industry-academic cooperation to strengthen digital capabilities, and the ‘K-Food Overseas Leap Program,’ which assists merchants planning to expand into the Japanese market through education, menu consulting, and local sales opportunities.
Additionally, Coupang Eats provided full funding for on-site interpretation services for international students to help them experience regional products and food at various market booths. Kim Myung-gyu, CEO of Coupang Eats Service, stated that the company will continue its efforts to support the growth of traditional markets and small businesses through digital transformation and market expansion.
