Coupang Fulfillment Services holds logistics safety campaign

Coupang Fulfillment Services (CFS) partnered with the Bucheon Branch of the Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency to host the 4th Logistics Industry Safety Culture Relay Campaign at the Bucheon 1 Center.

During the event, officials inspected the facility for fire hazards and risks related to entanglement or collision accidents. To combat summer heat, CFS distributed ice cups, electrolyte drinks, and heatstroke prevention supplies to workers at the Bucheon 1 and 2 centers and their partner companies. The campaign also emphasized five key heatstroke prevention rules: water, cooling devices, rest, cooling gear, and emergency reporting.

CFS has designated the period from June to September as a special management period for extreme heat. The company is expanding its ‘HVAC project’ to increase cooling facilities across major centers nationwide and provides cooling rest areas, ice water, and ice cream to support worker health.
