Coupang launches physical gift cards via Rocket Delivery

Coupang has launched physical gift cards available through its Rocket Delivery service. The new offering includes five denominations ranging from 10,000 to 300,000 KRW, featuring three distinct designs to suit various gifting occasions.

To facilitate personal gifting, particularly for the Chuseok holiday season, the cards are provided with specially designed message card envelopes. Once received, customers can easily convert the physical cards into Coupang Cash via the Coupang app. This credit can be used across the company’s ecosystem, including Rocket Delivery products, the R. LUX luxury beauty service, Rocket Fresh premium groceries, and Coupang Eats food delivery.

This launch follows Coupang’s previous efforts to expand gifting options, which include the introduction of e-gift cards, integration with Kakao Gift, and the earlier launch of physical gift cards at Seven-Eleven stores.
