Courbevoie: Woman killed in stabbing attack by cousin

A 25-year-old man has been taken into custody following the fatal stabbing of his 37-year-old cousin in Courbevoie, Hauts-de-Seine. The attack occurred during the night between Saturday and Sunday.

The Nanterre prosecutor's office reported that the victim “received dozens of knife wounds and could not be resuscitated.” The suspect, along with the individual who was hosting them, is currently in police custody. The motive for the homicide has not yet been determined.

The suspect is scheduled to appear before an investigating judge to be formally charged with murder, and the prosecution intends to request pre-trial detention. An autopsy of the victim is scheduled to take place on Monday.
