Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina begins refund of 440,000 KM to Fikret Hodžić
The Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina has initiated a formal process to return funds to Fikret Hodžić and his company, ‘F. H. Srebrena malina’. The amount to be returned exceeds 440,000 KM and more than 1,000 euros.
Attorney Mirna Avdibegović confirmed that the Court sent a request for specific data to proceed with the refund. She noted that the return of these funds, which were temporarily seized, does not conclude the legal battle. Avdibegović stated that the funds were withheld without legal basis for at least 16 months and that further legal steps will be taken to address the damages caused by the previous actions.
The refund follows a July decision by the Appellate Division of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The case previously faced delays due to requests from the Attorney General's Office of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina to suspend the decision while the Ministry of Finance reviewed documentation for potential litigation.
