Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina faces legal complaints and embezzlement charges

Legal and financial controversies have emerged involving the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Fikret Hodžić, owner of the company ‘F. H. Srebrena malina’, has filed a criminal complaint against Judge Braco Stupar and other officials. The complaint concerns the failure to execute a final court decision from July 6, which ordered the return of over 440,000 KM and 1,000 EUR that had been frozen since 2020 in connection with the ‘respirator’ procurement case. Hodžić alleges that the payment was halted by Judge Stupar following a request from the Federal Attorney's Office, despite the finality of the appellate decision.

In a separate matter, Sead Bublin, an employee of the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, has pleaded not guilty to charges of embezzlement and forgery. According to the indictment, Bublin, a specialist for the execution of criminal sanctions, is accused of illegally misappropriating 196,729.59 KM from the court's evidence deposit office between early 2024 and April 2024. He is also accused of forging documents to conceal the theft. The court will schedule a trial following his denial of guilt.
