Court of Castrovillari acquits woman of assault charges in Rossano

The Court of Castrovillari has fully acquitted a 70-year-old woman from Rossano who was accused of threats, insults, and physical assault against her former daughter-in-law. The incident allegedly took place in the historic center of Rossano.

The prosecution's case was based on a complaint alleging that the defendant harassed the victim and her family, culminating in a physical confrontation where she reportedly pulled the victim's hair and caused scratches to her face and neck. Witnesses, including the victim's niece, testified to the encounter, and medical records from the Corigliano Rossano Hospital were presented to document injuries.
