Courtina Japan launches professional pickleball surfaces in Japan

Courtina Japan has announced the domestic launch of professional-grade pickleball court surfaces manufactured by the U.S.-based company AT Sports. This marks the first time these specific technologies are being introduced to the Japanese market.

The product lineup includes Acrytech acrylic surface coatings and CushionX portable court mats. The CushionX mats are designed to transform multi-purpose spaces, such as gymnasiums and event venues, into professional-standard pickleball courts without the need for permanent construction. This solution aims to address the current shortage of dedicated pickleball courts in Japan.

AT Sports serves as the official surface provider for the Professional Pickleball Association (PPA) and Major League Pickleball (MLP). The Acrytech coatings are also utilized in professional tennis tours. The first shipment of these products is expected in November 2026.
