Courtney Sarault and Canadian speedskaters begin new Olympic cycle

Canadian short-track speedskater Courtney Sarault is beginning a new four-year Olympic cycle following a highly successful year. Sarault recently earned four medals—two silver and two bronze—at the Milan Cortina Olympics, and secured a Crystal Globe as the top overall female speedskater on the World Cup circuit.

The ISU Short Track World Tour, a seven-city competition, is set to begin in Vancouver. The event features over 215 athletes representing 29 countries. This marks the first time the Pacific Coliseum has hosted short-track speedskating since the 2010 Winter Olympics.
